The frequency of visits is tailored to the severity of the wound. Options include weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. For wounds requiring daily care, Cura Nova Care coordinates with its support team to meet those needs.  

Yes, the providers partnered with Cura Nova Care are contracted with various insurance providers. They will bill your insurance company directly if they are in-network.

If you’re uninsured or Cura Nova Care isn’t contracted with your insurance, you can email them at info@curanovacare.com for detailed information on costs, which vary based on the treatment required. 

To refer a patient, contact Cura Nova Care directly. They will guide you through the referral process.

Patients with acute wounds, non-healing wounds lasting over 30 days, diabetic wounds, pressure ulcers, traumatic or surgical wounds, those undergoing negative pressure wound therapy, or residents in skilled nursing facilities with stage 2 or higher wounds should be referred to Cura Nova Care.  

Cura Nova Care provides mobile diagnostics, including X-rays, ultrasounds, wound cultures, and custom bracing, all performed in the patient’s home.
